SPRINGDALE — David Lee Kreider, beloved husband, father and Pawpa, 1948-2016, passed away suddenly at home in Springdale, Ark. at the age of 67. He was born in Vinita, Okla. to Gene and Colleen Kreider and grew up in Miami, Okla.

David is dearly loved by his wife Marla, children and children-in-law, Rick and Amanda, James and Adrianne, Austin, Samantha, Parke and Anna as well as six grandchildren Ben, Sterling, Meadow, Blaze, Amelia and Emma. He is also survived by his brothers, Jack and Ronnie and sister, Carolyn and many nieces and nephews.

David was a member of Fellowship Bible Church, Lowell and is a follower of Jesus Christ. This strong relationship with Christ affected every area of life. He was retired after 30 years as a Professor at the University of Arkansas where he enjoyed teaching and researching in the field of Animal Science. David enjoyed photography, fishing and was a builder and fixer of anything and everything. More than all else, he loved his family and friends well, he took great care of each and every one of us and is dearly missed by all who knew him.

Visitation will be at Sisco Funeral Chapel in Springdale, Ark. on January 27th from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. and Funeral Service will be at Fellowship Bible Church in Lowell, Ark. on Thursday January 28th at 10 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
