Funeral services were conducted at the family home in Des Arc Saturday night at 7:30 for W. J. Chandler, who passed away Thursday, August 21, by the Rev. Ernest Baker.
The choir sang "Will the Circle be Unbroken", Shall we Gather at the River", and "Sweet by and by".
Pallbearers were Porter Williams, Hull Smith, Johnny Benson, John Holly, Harve Short, and Billy Chandler.
Burial was in the Lakeside cemetery at Des Arc with the Ernest E. Chandler Funeral Home in charge.
