Richard L. Houk, 82, of Flippin passed away Wednesday, April 12, 2017 in Mountain Home. He was born May 24, 1934 in Oldham, South Dakota to the late John and Beverly (Wilbright) Houk. Richard is preceded in passing by his parents; two brothers and two sisters.
Richard is survived by his wife of 61 years, June Houk of Flippin; three sons and daughters-in-law, Tim (Rebecca) Houk of Flippin, Dennis (Sue) Houk of Buford and Ron (Brooke) Houk of Mountain Home; six grandchildren, Josh (Janine) Houk of California, Stacey Foor of Bryant, Zackary (Samantha) Houk of California, Andrew Houk of Arizona, Sam Houk of California and Raquel Houk of Mountain Home; six great-grandchildren, Sebastian, Hannah, Jaxyn, Jefferson, Luca and Tiago; one sister, Judy Roberts of California, and many more family and friends.
A visitation will be held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, April 15, 2017 at the Conner Family Funeral Home Chapel. The funeral service will follow at 2:00 p.m. with Brother Jack Jefferson presiding. The burial will be at the Walnut Hill Cemetery in Cotter under the direction of Conner Family Funeral Home.
