CANE HILL — Donald Quay Hamblet passed into the presence of Christ on March 1, 2012, from his home in Cane Hill. He was born on March 13, 1930, in Abilene, Texas.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 61 years, Elizabeth Ann Hamblet. He was dearly loved by his two daughters, both of Oklahoma, and their spouses. He was blessed by, and loved by his seven grandchildren and their spouses,
and 11 great-grandchildren. He was a dear Uncle to his nephew, two nieces, and their extended families. He touched the lives of many during his 10-year second career as a Walmart Greeter, and was a cherished member of Prairie Grave Christian Church.
