HINDSVILLE - William Benjamin "Ben" Rice, 73, of Hindsville died Sept. 27, 2004. He was born July 7, 1931, in Spring Valley to Lonnie Levie and Ruth Hazel Walker Rice. He was a lifetime resident of the area and worked as a carpenter throughout his life. He was a member of the House of Worship Church.
Survivors include his wife, Jean Lichlyter Rice of the home; one son, David Rice and wife Valorie of Tucson, Ariz.; one daughter, Shelley Frasure and husband Dean of Springdale; three brothers, Isaac Rice of Bartlesville, Okla., Arlie Rice of Fayetteville, Howard Rice of Rogers; two sisters, Lorene McKinzie of Healing Springs. Ethel Mayes of Hindsville; two granddaughters, Shauna and Mandy Frasure.
Services will be at 10 a.m. today at the House of Worship with the Rev. Bill Williams and the Rev. Eldon Bagwell officiating. Burial will be in Morriss Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Jerry Cornelison, Floyd Cornelison, Jeff Cornelison, Lonnie Siler, Johnny Evans and Jimmie Pitts.
Honorary pallbearers will be James Cornelison, Hubert Siler, Bud Pascal and Jerry Thomas.
Arrangements are by Sisco Chapel in Springdale.
