Anton W. Johnson, 68, a retired employee of the F.J. and __ Railroad, died Tuesday morning after an extended illness. He was a resident of Timber Trail, near Gateway. He was born Oct. 21, 1885 at Waukegan, Ill. He was a member of the Lutheran Church and the American Legion.

Survivors include one sister, Mrs. Olga Lundgren of Timber Trail, one aunt, Mrs. P. A. Johnson of Timber Trail, and one nephew, Kenneth Fosberg of Waukegan, Ill.

Funeral services will be conducted Thursday at 2 p.m. at Nelson's Funeral Chapel by Rev. James Burris. Burial will be at Rogers.
