SPRINGDALE— Charlie Lee Bowen, 67 passed away in his home in Springdale, on Oct. 12, 2012. He was born June 21, 1945, in Kingston, Ark., to O.B. Bowen and Della Cook Bowen.
He worked for John Westlin Concrete for 22 years. He enjoyed gardening, watching wildlife and playing with his grandkids.
He was preceded in death by both his parents; brothers, Jackie Bowen, Clay Bowen, and Vernon Bowen; sister, Fayrene Bowen and one half brother, Roy Deatherage.
He was survived by his wife, Lillian, of 47 years; one son, Michael Bowen and wife Jackee; one stepdaughter, Lorinda Coger; four grandsons, Cody Bowen and fiance Amanda Priest and her children Alianna and James, Dylon Bowen and Noah Bowen of Springdale, and Austin Bowen of Siloam Springs and one granddaughter, Christina Prater of Springdale; brothers, Bobbie Bowen, Kenny Bowen, and David Bowen of Springdale; sisters, Nadine Mays and husband Terry, and Mae Rhine, both of Springdale.
Viewing will be held at Sisco Funeral Chapel on today, Oct. 14, 2012, from 4 p.m.-6 p.m.
Graveside services will be Monday, at 10 a.m. Oct. 15, 2012, at Sonora Cemetery.
