Joe Bolinger, 74, of Springdale died Wednesday, Nov. 3, 2004, at Northwest Medical Center of Washington County in Springdale. He was born July 20, 1930, in Loy to Claud and Jessie Pharris Bolinger.

Mr. Bolinger was a Korean War veteran serving in the Army. He worked in farming and real estate throughout his life. He was a Baptist, a Blue Lodge Mason and enjoyed hunting and fishing.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Ray Bolinger, and a brother-in-law, Sam Maxwell.

He is survived by his wife, Ruby Villines Bollinger, whom he married on Oct. 28, 1950; a son, Richard Bolinger and wife Reta of Springdale; a daughter, Pat Neil and husband Dale of Lowell; two sisters, Irene Maxwell, Christine Hathorn and husband Jack, all of Springdale; two grandchildren, Brandon Bolinger of Seattle, Wash., Asberene Truitt of Springdale; and great great-grandchildren, Alex Gillean and Kaydyn Truitt, both of Springdale.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 6, at Sisco Funeral Chapel in Springdale with the Rev. Richard Perry officiating. Interment will be in Friendship Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Bearers will be Wayne Van Hook, James Maxwell, Scott Bolinger, Rob Bolinger, Conrad Villines and Paul Villines.
