Ralph Edward Brimer, age 65, of Atkins, Arkansas, passed away Friday, July 9, 2010. He was born October 22, 1944, in Trumann, Arkansas, a son of Charley Brimer and Naomi Hutchins Brimer. He was a Vietnam Army Veteran, retired Engineer for Union Pacific Railroad and of the Baptist faith. Survivors include his wife, Peggy Porter Brimer of Atkins; son, Elda Brimer of Orlando, Florida; sister, Erlene Childress of San Pierre, Indiana,; brother, Charles Brimer of Searcy; sister-in-law, Debbie Brimer of Morrilton; and step-children, Dena Utt, Tony Porter and Martie Jones all of Cameron, Missouri. Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Monday, July 12, 2010, at the Harris Chapel. Burial will be at 1:00 p.m. Monday, at Welcome Home Cemetery near Des Arc, by Harris Funeral Home of Morrilton.
