BRITT, Mahala MARTIN - Mrs. Mahala Britt, wife of I.W. Britt, died a few days ago at her home three miles northwest of Prairie Grove. She had been in ill health for a number of years. Deceased was 56 years of age and was a sister of Rev. T.A. Martin, who was at one time pastor of the M.E. Church South in Springdale. She is survived by a husband and one child. The remains were interred in the cemetery at Greasy Valley, services being conducted by Rev. J.A. McAnally.
