*Obituary
George Donald "Don" Barr, age 82, of Russellville, died Monday, January 7, 2008 at his home. A son of the late Paul H. and Marie Miller Barr, he was born September 8, 1925 in Des Moines, Iowa.
Survivors include his wife of fifty-five years, Marian Roberts Barr; three daughters: Cindy Morrison and her husband, Thomas; Kathy Barr; and Susan Hunter and her husband, Chris; four grandchildren: Hayley Morrison, Savanna and Bennett Hunter and Courtney Lewis; a sister, Pat Burgett of Punta Gorda, Florida; his step-mother, Nancy Barr of Punta Gorda; and a number of nephews and nieces.
The memorial service was held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, January 16, 2008, at the Central Presbyterian Church, by Shinn Funeral Service. The Rev. Ken Kalvesmaki will officiate.
