Ripka (Ripkey) families were living in Union Township, Independence Co., in 1900. William (24, b. MO) and his mother, Lena (66, b. Germany) were living together and in the adjacent household were, Charley (b. 46, Germany), Rebecca (b. 46, MO), and a daughter, Julia Cosby (6, b. AR).
