*Obituary
Lemuel "Jim" Reynolds, 73, of Melbourne died Wednesday, June 1, 2011 at his home.
Born Tuesday, April 5, 1938 in Mossbill, Arkansas, he was the son of Bartis Reynolds and Luer Barnard Reynolds. Jim was of the Baptist faith.
He was a retired truck driver and drove for Tyson Foods, but in his heart of hearts, he was a cowboy. He loved horses and there was not a horse he couldn't break. Jim loved being outdoors and nature. He loved fishing, coon hunting, and country/western music. He and his wife, Joyce, won several dancing contests together.
If Jim thought something was right or wrong, you could not change his mind about it. Most important to Jim was his family, his children, and his relationship with God.
Survivors include his wife, Joyce Lee Durham Reynolds of the home; three sons: Lonnie Reynolds of Ozone, David Reynolds of Springdale, and Brad Reynolds of Springfield, MO; two daughters: Evelyn Cumings of Ozone and Karen Reynolds of Huntsville; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; a brother, Alvin Reynolds of Highfill; and a sister, Rosetta Blount of Springdale.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Lucille Reynolds.
Pallbearers will be Roy Durham, Sam Durham, Bob Peters, Lonnie Reynolds, David Reynolds, and Brad Reynolds.
Honorary pallbearers are Steve Cumings, Teddy Bohanann and Lee.
The funeral will be at 10:00 a.m. Saturday at Roller-Crouch Chapel in Melbourne.
Burial will be in Lone Star Cemetery near Melbourne under the direction of Roller-Crouch Funeral Home of Melbourne.
Visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
