Margaret Bell Parnell, 67, of Norfork died Tuesday at her residence.
Born Feb 27, 1908, in Commerce, OK, Mrs. Parnell was the daughter of the late William Alvin and Lura Bridgeman Moore. She had lived in this area for 42 years.
Mrs. Parnell was married to Ralph Parnell of Norfork Dec 25, 1932.
Funeral services for Mrs. Parnell will be held today (Thursday) at 2PM at the Galatia Assembly of God Church, with Rev. Jack Langston, Rev. Charles Davis and Rev. Benny Speaks officiating, with burial in the Galatia Cemetery. Roller Funeral home is in charge of arrangements.
Besides her husband, Mrs. Parnell is survived by one son, Jim Parnell of Norfork, three daughters, Mrs. Ellen Lawson of Tulsa, OK, Mrs. Deloris Duggins of Gassville and Mrs. Mable Greer of Mt. Home; a foster daughter, Mrs. Mildred Southard of Norfork; two brothers, Evert Moore of Paola, KS and Carl Moore of Wellsville, KS; a sister, Mrs. Barbara Ellen Harned of Kansas City, MO and 11 grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Rev. Hap Watkins, Alvin Watkins, Clarence Moore, Delman Parnell, Dwayne Parnell and Dale Parnell. Honorary pallbearers will be Everett Parnell, Sylvester Parnell, Ronnie Parnell and Jerry Parnell.
All of the active pallbearers are nephews of Mrs. Parnell.
Mrs. Parnell was precede in death by a brother and two sisters.
