A graveside service for Howard Russell Wynn of Mt. Home will be 11AM Tuesday at Galatia Cemetery, with Brother Michael Lance officiating. Military honors will be by Alley White American Legion Post 52 Honor Guard. Vistiation will be 5-8PM today at Kirby and Family Funeral Home. Howard died Friday, June 27, 2008, in Mt. Home at the age of 73.
Howard was born Saturday, Jan 12, 1935, in Lone Rock, the son of Hobson Rushing and Lula Mae Acklin Wynn. He worked as a street maintainence worker for the city of Harrison. He was a US Navy Korean War veteran. Howard was a lifetime resident of the area.
Howard Wynn is survived by life companion, Juanita Bish of Salesville; two sons, Randy (Bibbin) Wynn and Scott (Becci) Wynn, both of Harrison; six daughters, Teri Martin of Houston, Texas, Carolyn Wynn of Harrison, Linda (Kenny) Fuller of Harrison, Heather Wynn of Harrison, and Kris (Kevin) Cagg of St. Joseph, MO; 12 grandchildren; six great grandchildren; two brothers, Kay (Joyce) Wynn of Tulsa, OK and Decil (Brenda) Wynn of Gainesville, MO; and two sisters Jackie Daniel of Dowagiac, MI and Earlene (Dean) Martin of Mt. Home.
Memorials may be made to Hospice of the Ozardks' Hospice House.
Arrangements are by Kirby and family Funeral and Creamtion Services.
