Fredia Lewallen, 85, of Corning, AR., passed away at her daughter's home with her family. Mrs. Lewallen was a homemaker, she enjoyed cooking and gardening. She was a member of the Church of Christ.

She married her husband of 56 years on August 19, 2004.

She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents Ed and Ollie (Brightwell) Sauls; and one son Kelly Lewallen.

Wallace B. Lewallen, 76, of Corning, at the Regional Medical Center in Memphis.

He was the son of Bill and Carrie Dobbs Lewallen. He was a retired farmer, a Methodist and a member of the Masonic Lodge at Hoxie.

He was preceded in death his father and by a son, Kelly Lewallen.

Survivors include his wife, Freida Sauls Lewallen, whom he married Sept. 3. 1947; a daughter, Suzanne Daniels, Caraway; a son, Wallace Gaylon Lewallen, Corning; his mother, Carrie Lewallen, Pocahontas; two brothers, Dennis Lewallen, Nelson, Ill., and Dale Lewallen, Pocahontas; four grandchildren, Marcus Price, T. Daniels, Lacey Lewallen and Channing Lewallen; and four great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were conducted Sunday afternoon, August 22, in Ermert Funeral Home chapel with Blue Riggan, speaker.
