Norman Guy Collins, 80
Norman Guy Collins, age 80 of Mountain Home, passed away Friday, September 6, 2013 in Mountain Home. Mr. Collins was born October 23, 1932 in Gassville to Clarence and Cuba (Lamb) Collins. He married Della L. Douglas on June 20, 1953 in Mountain Home. Mr. Collins spent most of his adult life working as a car salesman. He enjoyed horse racing, car racing, working on cars, casino gambling and traveling.
Norman Guy Collins is survived by his wife Laverne, a son Ricky and wife Jolana Collins of Mountain Home, daughters Linda Cagle of Flippin and Judy Pratt of Alma, sisters Dixie and Janet Collins both of Gainesville, Missouri, 9 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, sisters Wanda and Helen, and brother W.D.
Graveside services will be held Sunday, September 8, 2013 at 1:00 P.M. at the Douglas Cemetery. A Visitation will be Saturday, September 7, 2013 from Noon until 9:00 P.M., with the family receiving friends from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. at the Roller Funeral Home Chapel.
