Eunice Mae Caples Maxwell, 79, of Crossett died Sunday, October 7, 2007 at Saline Memorial Hospital in Benton. Born on October 27, 1927, in Pickins, LA, to Curtis and Naomia Johnson Caples, she was a homemaker and member of the Community Chapel Baptist Church.
Survivors include two sons, Bobby Maxwell of Huffman, Texas, and Mark Maxwell of Little Rock; four daughters, Virginia Graham of Crosby, Texas, Evelyn Watt of Greenwood, LA, Neomia Keesee of Little Rock and Sharon Watt of Lake Village; one brother; Howard Caples of Hodge, LA; and a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William Robert Maxwell; a son, William Travis Maxwell; and a daughter, Brenda Kay Maxwell.
Funeral services were Monday October 8, at 11 a.m. in the Jones Funeral Home chapel in Crossett with Bro. James Halford officiating. Pallbearers were Chad Maxwell, Herschel Reaves, Mark Keesee, Steven Terral, Aaron Watt and Rick Harrison. Burial followed services at Hickory Grove Cemetery. See guest book at www.jonesservice.com.
