Bridgeport: James E Hale 48 of Bridgeport died Tuesday, January 19, 2010, in Bridgeport.
James was born October 21, 1961 in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma to Wilson and Helen Hale. He was a retired truck driver and dispatcher who served his country in the United States Army and the Army National Guard.Survived by his wife Glenda Hale of Bridgeport; motherHelen Hale Edgar of Van Buren, Arkansas, father Wilson Earl Hale and wife Elaine of Paradise, Texas; daughters Shonna Hale McFarland of Bridgeport and Anna LaTish Schutz of Springtown, Texas; sisters Davalene Wells and husband Darrel and Charlotte Barber, all of Van Buren; brothers Daniel Hale and wife Melinda of Alma, Arkansas, and Wilson Hale, Jr and wife Francis of Van Buren; stepbrother Leroy Edgar of Van Buren; grandchildren Jacova, Alexis Engel of Fort Smith, Arkansas and Peanut who will arrive in June, of Bridgeport, Texas,and Levi and Heather Schutz of Springtown, Texas. He is also survived by several aunts,uncles, cousins, a host of nieces and nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews, as well as countless friends.
Preceded in death by his grandparents Coleman and Ruby Hale, David Chandler, and
Irene and Ted Burns; and his stepfather Harold Edgar.
Funeral was held at 2:00 PM Thursday, January 21, 2010, at Jones Family Funeral Home
Chapel in Bridgeport. His brother
Wilson Hale, Jr, officiated. Interment was at 2:00 PM Friday at Dyer Cemetery in Van Buren, Arkansas. Pallbearers were Nicholas Smith, Daniel Hale Jr, Justin Hale, Jasper Barber, Eric Wells, Benjamin Barber, John Wilson Hale, andAnthony Hale.
