Ralph Nolan "Poke" Cauley, 65, of Bee Branch, father of Cathy Dean of Greenbrier, died Wednesday (March 22, 2000).
Born Sept. 19, 1934, in Bee Branch, son of the late Rowe and Corine Joyner Cauley, he was a retired truck driver from AMPT and Melton Trucklines, and an Army veteran of World War II.
Other survivors are a son, Tommy Nolan Cauley of Bee Branch; two stepdaughters, Connie Spiller of Holland and Julie Dickerson of Bismark (Hot Spring County); a sister, Carolyn Thomas of Carson City, Nevada; the mother of his children, Barbara Cauley; 11 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Bee Branch Baptist Church with Johnny Evans Sr., Johnny Evans Jr. and Lester Carl Nixon officiating. Burial will be in Bee Branch Cemetery by Roller-McNutt Funeral Home of Clinton.
Pallbearers will be J.D. Payne, Joe Cargile, Ray Treat, Tommy McCarley, Jim Moss, Sammy Collums, Roger Coffman and Johnny Bolden.
