Ed, along with his Brother, Albert, had a barber shop in Siloam Springs, Arkansas from 1909-1969. Ed came from Kinsley, Kansas in 1909 and Lucy from Iowa in 1910. They had a Daughter, Joanna, born in 1925 and a Son, SSgt Edward Jr., born in 1914. Ed Jr. was killed on a work detail out of a Japanese Prison Camp in the Philippines, June 6, 1942. He was a nine year veteran of the Unites States Army Air Corps.
