Alvin Eugene Harris, 61, of Chester, died Friday, January 5, 2007 in his home. He was a truckdriver and a member of the Shamrock Pentecostal Church. He is survived by his wife Susie; one daughter; Melissa Harris of Chester; two sons; James Lee Harris of Van Buren and Ben Eugene Harris of Chester. Three sisters; Judy Solley and Joyce Lamproe both of Van Buren and Barbara Ann Honea of Ft. Smith; five brothers; Steve Harris of Ft. Smith, Roger Harris of Greenbrier, Bill Harris of Rudy, Dennis Harris and Jerry Lee Harris both of Van Buren; seven grandchildren and 6 Great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Carl State, Rick Anderton, Jesse Brown, Claude Lowery, Sherman Lowery and Ronnie Cook.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Jerry Don Atwell, Bill and Rick Jones.
