A funeral for Jimmy Dairl Elumbaugh, of Clarkridge will be 2PM Wednesday at Kirby and Family Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Gale Wooten officiating. Visitation was 6-9PM Tuesday at the funeral home. Mr. Elumbaugh died Sunday, Sep 2, 2007, at his residence. He was 70.
He was born Aug 10, 1937, at Marked Tree to Arthur and Bertha Lee McClung Elumbaugh. He was a pipeline helper and inspector for Pipeline Local 798 in Tulsa, OK. He lived in the Twin Lakes Area most of his life. He was of the Baptist faith and a member of Norfork Masonic Lodge and was a 32nd degree Scottish Rites Mason.
Jimmy is survived by one daughter, Debbie (Randy Sanders) Strong of Clarkridge; three grandchildren, Ryan Foster, Timothy Elumbaugh and Heather Strong; two great grandchildren, Airal and Cody Elumbaugh; five brothers, Arthur (Sherry) Elumbaugh of St. Augustine, Texas, R.B. (Nina) Elumbaugh of Center Texas, Chad (Linda) Elumbaugh of Conyers, GA, Bill (Vickie) Elumbaugh of Batesville and J.S. (Carol) Elumbaugh of Burton, MI; three sisters, Lavine Towell of Cummings, GA, and Mae Harris and Faye (Charles) Branscum, all of Batesville. He was preceded in death by his parents; two sons, Ricky and Jimmy Dale Elumbaugh; one brother and three sisters.
Burial will be at Galatia Cemetery with Todd Elumbaugh, Timothy Elumbaugh, Gaylon Melton, Kyle Foster, Matt Foster and Gary Cunningham as pallbeares. Honorary pallbeares will be Ryan Foster, Lee Elumbaugh, Bill Elumbaugh, Tommy Reed and Tommy Joe Melton.
Arrangements are by Kirby and Family Funeral and Creamation Services.
