William Harry Osborn, 83, of Searcy, Arkansas, departed this life Sunday, May 20, 2012, at 12:30 p.m. to meet his beloved Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. He spent his final days at Ozark Hospice House, surrounded by his loving family.

William, affectionately known as Bud or Bill, was born July 24, 1928, in El Paso, Arkansas to Charlie Amos Osborn and Rebecca Ellen (Hodson) Osborn, the youngest of their nine children.

Raised on a farm, William worked as a farmer, a Chrysler Motors mechanic, a heavy equipment operator and an entrepreneur. He enjoyed playing guitar and singing country and gospel music. He was an avid gardener who loved the out of doors and working with his hands.
William married Corene (Robertson) Osborn on his birthday, July 24, 1948.

He is survived by his wife Corene, sister Daisy Glover, son William Lewis Osborn, daughter Shirlene (Osborn) Stone, son-in-law Randall Stone, and grandsons Matt Stone and Derek Osborn.

William will be greatly missed as a father, brother, husband, grandfather, and friend.

Family will receive friends beginning at 9:30 a.m. Thursday at Westbrook Funeral Home, Beebe, with funeral service to follow at 11:00 a.m.

Burial will be in Grissard Cemetery, El Paso, Arkansas.
