Born in Edgefield Co. South Carolina. His parents were Thomas Hall and Talitha Hammond Hall. He was married to Elizabeth Butler Hall of Edgefield, SC. They came to Prairie Co. in Dec. 1867 with their ten children and some of their spouses. No one knows where Elizabeth is buried, most likely in Oakland in an unmarked grave. Any information is much appreciated.
