Lola Mae Beaver, 84, of Pea Ridge passed away Dec. 23, 2006, in Bentonville. She was born Oct. 25, 1922, in Clifty to the late Carl Isley and Pearl Nelson Isley.

She was instrumental in starting the first 4-H Club in Pea Ridge and remained active in it for more than 45 years. She belonged to the VFW, Pea Ridge Extension Homemakers Club and was a member of the Pea Ridge Church of Christ. She was an avid gardener and excellent seamstress.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard James Beaver, in 1974.

She is survived by two sons, J.C. Beaver and wife Donna of Pea Ridge, and Randy Beaver of Pea Ridge; two grandchildren, Teresa Bush and husband Darrel of Cave Springs, and Jerry Beaver and wife Christy of Pea Ridge; two stepgrandchildren, Lisa Mayberry of Johnson and Michelle Larson of Lowell; three great-grandchildren and four stepgreat-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 26, 2006, at Rollins Funeral Home.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 27, 2006, at the Pea Ridge Church of Christ with Malcolm Scott and Jack Garner officiating. Burial will be in Buttrams Chapel Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to St. Mary's Hospice, 1001 W. Walnut, Rogers, 72756.
