Ray William Caraway, 70 of Russellville died January 13, 1993 in a Russellville hospital.
Born in Guion, he was the son of Richard and Rethie Arnold Caraway. He was a retired heavy equipment operator, a Baptist and an Army Veteran of World War II.
Survivors include his wife, Lucille Adams Caraway; a son, Junior Ray Caraway of Russellville; his mother, Rethie Caraway of Horseshoe Bend; and four grandchildren, Mistie Lynn Caraway, Tracie Don Caraway, Scott Michael Needham and Valerie Renee Needham all of Russellville.
Funeral services were at 2 p.m. on Friday, January 15, 1993 in the Crouch Funeral Home chapel in Melbourne with the Rev. Tim Pointer officiating. Burial was in the Reeves Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Joe Gass, Bruce Adams, Casey Hightower, Lance Hames, Leonard Hames and Mike Matlock.
