Obituary- Henry Lee Fairchild, 75, of Hamburg died Wednesday, June 18, 2003, at Medical Center of South Arkansas in El Dorado. A native of Pendleton, he had been a resident of Hamburg for the past 60 years. He was a retired farm laborer and a Baptist.
Survivors include two brothers, Floyd Fairchild and Wesley Fairchild, both of Hamburg; and a host of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Maudie Fairchild; his parents, Greenville Wesley and Elizabeth Shepard Fairchild; two brothers, L.D. and Arthur Doyle Fairchild; and one half-brother, Lawrence Rayford.
Funeral services were held Friday, June 20, at 3 p.m. in the chapel of Cromwell Funeral Home of hamburg with Rev. Charles Pullin officiating. Burial was at Snyder Cemetery. Pallbearers were Billy Smith, Freddie McNeil, Damon Barfield, Jeff Fairchild, Kevin McNeil and Joseph Savage.
