LEFORS, Margaret E. DICKSON - Margaret E. Lefors, wife of the late B.P. {Buck] Lefors, passed away at Gentry Feb. 6th at the age of seventy-seven years. She was born on September 18, 1854 and was the daughter of H.J. and Mary Ann Dickson. May 2d, 1872 she was united in marriage with B.P. Lefors and to them were born the following children: Frank and Sherman; Earl Lefors; Mrs. S.O. Peek and Mrs. Myrtle Hardcastle. Mr. Lefors and three children have preceded her in death. Surviving also are her brothers, Tom Dickson of Siloam Springs; Will Dickson of Wheaton, Mo.; Node Dickson of Chattanooga, Tenn., as well as other relatives. Funeral services were held Sunday at 2 p.m. at the Christian Church. Burial was made in Bozarth Cemetery northwest of Gentry.

LEFORS, B.P. "Buck" - B.P. Lefors, one of the pioneers of Gentry, died on Thursday night, August 6th, 1925 at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Charles Hardcastle in Siloam Springs where he had been taken for medical treatment. Mr. Lefors had been in ill health for some time and has been gradually sinking for the past few months. Funeral services were conducted from the home in Gentry on Saturday by the Rev. Mr. Hughes of that place. The funeral was one of the largest ever held there. Interment was made in the Bozarth cemetery He is survived by his widow and six children, all of whom were present at the services. These are Frank, Sherman and Earl Lefors of Gentry and Don Lefors of Williams, Cal. and Mrs. Sam Peek of Decatur and Mrs. Charles Hardcastle of Siloam Springs.

Another old resident has been called to his home on high where the supreme architect presides. Bro. B.P. Lefors, who was known by all as "Uncle Buck," has been an advisor on political and financial affairs of this community for many years, having seen Gentry grow from a heavy timbered land to its present beautiful city. Preaching services were conducted at his home by Rev. L. Hughes. Bro. Lefors was a charter member of Bloomfield Lodge, F.A. Masons. His remains were laid to rest by Gentry Lodge, No. 222, F.A. Masons, Bro. O.E. Ramsdill officiating. Funeral was in charge of Carpenter Bros. A Masonic Brother.
