Roy Edmond Baer, 85, of Siloam Springs, died Thursday, Sept. 15, 1994, at Siloam Springs Memorial Hospital. Born April 8, 1909, at Stroud, Okla., the son of Edward Issac Baer and Ocie Neil Wisley Baer, he was a farmer and retired from Simmons Industries in 1972. He was a Jehovah's Witness and was the husband of Estelle James.

Survivors are six sons, Norman Baer of Rainier, Ore.; Doyle Allen Baer and Max Baer, both of St. Helen's, Ore.; Bo Holland and Corbin Baer, both of Watts, Okla., and Billy Baer of Westville, Okla.; three daughters, Iva Dell Sykes of Kelso, Wash.; Royanna Hudson of Westville, Okla., and Angela Baer of Siloam Springs; two brothers, Muriel Baer of Houston, Texas, and Kenneth Baer of Cincinnati; three sisters, Beulah Baer of Okmulgee, Okla.; Leota England of Siloam Springs and Mary Nell Harris of Wenatchee, Wash.; 15 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Graveside service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Union Cemetery at Cincinnati under the direction of Backstrom-Pyeatte Funeral Home of Siloam Springs. Visitation will be from 1-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
