ROGERS - Forest McClaflin, 57, of Rogers died March 15, 1999, at St. Mary's Hospital in Rogers.
He was born Dec. 26, 1941, in Pond Creek, Okla., to Richard O. and Gladys L. Alexander McClafin.
He was an electrician at TRW and a master electric-motor technician.
He moved to Rogers in 1960 from Derby, Kan., and was a member of the First Baptist Church where he served as deacon, taught Bible study and RAs.
He coached Little League baseball for several years and collected trading cards and antiques.
Survivors include his wife of 40 years, Coralee McClaflin of the home; on son, Brad McClaflin of Riverside, Calif.; two daughters, Deborah Ware of Fayetteville and Sherry Key of Rogers; one brother, Jack Snook of Exeter, Mo.; two sisters, Gwyneth Butler of Cassville, Mo., and Donna Kinzey of Garfield; four grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the First Baptist Church with the Rev. Ben J. Rowell officiating.
Burial will be in Rogers Cemetery under the direction of Rollins Funeral Home of Rogers.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.
