Don Eugene Lawrence, son of Ann Fudge Lawrence and the late Don Estes Lawrence, was born April 27, 1958 in Hawthorne, Calif. He departed this life on June 3, 2010 in Melbourne, at the age of 52 years, one month and seven days. He was a 1976 graduate of Melbourne High School. He was united in marriage to Davonda Craig on June 25, 1976 in Franklin. He served in the United States Air Force from 1978 to 1982. At the time of his death, he was employed by Falcon Jet Corporation in Little Rock. He was baptized at the Church of Christ in Melbourne.
He is survived by his wife of 33 years: Davonda Lawrence of the home; two sons: Jeremy Lawrence and Jordon Lawrence of Melbourne, one daughter: Mandy Brokaw of Melbourne; his mother; Ann Lawrence of Melbourne: six grandchildren: Shelby Brokaw, Hayley Brokaw, Hunter Brokaw, Madison Brokaw, Trestin Lawrence and Joanie Lawrence all of Melbourne; two sisters: Julie Stinnett and husband James of Belle, MO, and Stacy Gunderman and husband Tony of Batesville; five nieces and nephews; Morgan Weaver, Will Weaver, Lauren Gunderman, Anthony Gunderman, Benjamin Gunderman. He was preceded in death by his father: Don Estes Lawrence and his maternal and paternal grandparents.
Funereal service was Sunday, June 6 at 2 p.m. at the Howard Memorial Chapel in Melbourne. Burial will be at Melbourne Cemetery under the direction of Eddie's Family Funeral Home in Melbourne. Visitation was Saturday, June 5 from 6-8 p.m.
