BOCKWELL — Douglas Wayne Aspey, 42, of Brockwell died Tuesday, Nov. 22, 2011, in Nevada, Mo.
Born March 6, 1969, in Salt Lake City, he was the son of Lowell and Peggy Melton. He was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include his parents of Brockwell; and five sisters, Angela Smithson of Greenbrier, Darrellynn Aspey of Melbourne, Tammy Jaynes of Jonesboro, Paula Smithart of Madison, Ala., and Melissa Smith of Guion.
He was preceded in death by his biological father, Darrell Aspey.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Howard Memorial Funeral Chapel in Melbourne. Burial will be in Combs Cemetery under the direction of Eddie's Family Funeral Home in Melbourne.
Pallbearers will be Kaleb Smithson, Jordan Smithson, J.T. Bryan, Will Smith, Colton Jaynes and Brent Smithson.
Honorary pallbearers are Chase Smithart, Bailey Smithson, Emily Smith, Darbi Jaynes, Maggie Engles and Charlee Smithart.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 tonight.
