T.A. Screws was born Sept. 25, 1888 and died July 25, 1932. He was married to Lizzie Hill, to which union five children were born, two of whom preceded him in death. For over twenty years he was a member of the Christian church at Chinquapin. He leaves his wife and three children, five sisters and one brother. Funeral services were conducted by Elder Sherrill at the family cemetery.
