COOPER, Charley - {from Central} Uncle Charley Cooper died last Thursday, July 27th, aged 75 years. He was an old ex-Confederate soldier and fought under Gen. Robert E. Lee for four years and was badly crippled at the battle of Richmond, Va. just before the close of the war.
