ROGERS — Joseph F. Sprague, 80, of Rogers, passed away March 7, 2011, in Rogers. He was born June 8, 1930, in Rankin, Ill., the son of John and Leola Sprague.
He retired from the United States Army and was a member of First United Methodist Church in Rogers.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Edith Bell Sprague.
Survived by his daughters, Elaine Large of Rogers and Charlotte Barta of Maricopa, Calif.; six grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; 16 great-great-grandchildren.
Graveside services with military honors will be Friday, March 11, 2011, at 11 a.m. at Rogers Cemetery, with the Rev. Sandra Wanasek officiating.
Visitation will be held on Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Benton County Funeral Home, downtown Rogers.
Memorials may be made to the Veterans Administration Hospital.
