KING, George M. - George King, an old resident of the LaRue neighborhood, died last week at the age of sixty—three years. His widow and seven children survive him.

[from Larue} George M. King died Tuesday evening at 6:30 at his home near Larue after a three months illness. He was 63 years old and had lived here some 17 years. He is survived by his wife and seven children. Funeral at Martin cemetery Wednesday afternoon.

[from Larue} George M. King was born June 8, 1864 in Madison County, Mo. In 1891 he was united in marriage to Florence Roller. To this union was born nine children, eight of whom are now living. He had been ill for three months. All his children had been with him while he was ill except one daughter, Mrs. Everette Bland, living at Vilas, Colorado. He was a good neighbor, a loving father and husband. He died August 21, 1928 at his home near LaRue. He leaves a wife, eight children and a host of friends to mourn his leaving.
