Mrs. Joan Bauschlicher, 73, of Corning, AR., passed away Wednesday, December 14, 2011 at Saint Bernard’s Regional Medical Center in Jonesboro, AR. Mrs. Bauschlicher was born in Alton, IL., on May 16, 1938. She was a homemaker, she enjoyed Corning's annual Harvest Festival, attending church, painting and spending time with her grandchildren. She was a member of Esther Circle Ladies Group and Saint Matthew Lutheran Church in Corning.

She married her husband Wayne Bauschlicher on January 12, 1958. He survives. Other survivors include two sons Tim Bauschlicher and wife Shelia of Corning, AR., Steve Bauschlicher and wife Julie of Corning, AR.; one daughter Vicki and husband Mark Leonard of Corning, AR.; six grandchildren Marty Vallance and wife Ashley, Danielle Bauschlicher, Beau Bauschlicher, Katelyn Leonard, Abby Bauschlicher and one great grandson Rex Bauschlicher.

She was preceded in death by her parents Bob and Alma (May) Ward.

Funeral services will be conducted Friday, December 16, 2011 at 12:00 PM at Saint Matthew Lutheran Church with Reverend Jon Bischof officiating. Burial will follow the service in the Corning Cemetery. Public visitation will be held Friday, December 16, 2011 from 10:00 AM until the time of service at Saint Matthew Lutheran Church.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Saint Matthew Lutheran Church, PO Box 399, Corning, AR 72422.
