Obituary:
Janie Gregory, 73, of Alma went to be with her Lord and Savior Tuesday, May 25, 2010, in her home.
She was born Jan. 23, 1937, in Los Angeles.
She was bank manager for Commercial Bank and a member of Woodland Hills Pentecostal Church in Roland.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Aulbert and Roylee Tapp, and a brother, James Tapp.
She is survived by her husband, Bobby Gregory of the home; two daughters, Zoni Walker of Alma and Lesia Sams of Alma; two step-daughters, Stacy of Van Buren and Keemah of Van Buren; five sisters, Oma Vaughan of Roland, Doris Orsbun of Dora, Evelyn Yerton of Van Buren, Linda Redden of Dora and Beverly Trantham of El Reno, Okla.; five grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Funeral service was 2 p.m. Friday, May 28, 2010 at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home Chapel with burial at Dora Cemetery under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home.
Pallbearers were Tommy Williams, Mark Nichols, Richard Gregory, Brent Sams, Chad House and Dustin Tapp.
