Phillip E. Landers Dies at Little Rock

Phillip E. Landers of Mount Olive, passed away in a Little Rock hospital Saturday, August 16, at the age of 71. He was a veteran of World War I, was a farmer and a teacher. He was a member of the Presbyterian Church and was a Mason. He lived in that community all his life. Surviving him are two brothers, R. E. Landers and R. O. Landers both of Mount Olive, one sister, Mrs Addie Saffell of Mount Olive, and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held Sunday at Mount Olive at 2 p.m. with burial at Mount Olive Cemetery.
