Edward "Red" O'Dell Beaty age 78, of Jacksonville passed away Sunday, March 25, 2012. He was born February 11, 1934 in Saline County, Arkansas. He is preceded in death by his grandson, Stephen Daugherty, and great-grandson, Daemon Joniak. Mr. Beaty was a Career United States Air Force Veteran who served during Vietnam.
He is survived by his wife Josephine Marie Beaty , children; Douglas Beaty, Barbara July and her husband Jeff, Linda Daugherty, three grandsons; Timothy Joniak, Paul Daugherty, James July, seven great-grandchildren, and a host of cousins.
A special thank you from our family to the staff of McClellan VA Hospital for his final care. Visitation will be from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m., Thursday, March 29, 2012 at the funeral home. Funeral services will be 10 a.m., Friday, March 30, 2012 at Moore's Jacksonville Funeral Home (501) 982-2136.
