Joe L. Billingsley, 75, of Palestine died Saturday April 19, 2008. He was born January 31, 1933 in Lee County, to the late Claude Billingsley and Fannie Wilks Billingsley. He was a farmer and a member of Wall Chapel Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Pansy Herron Billingsley; two daughters, Robbie Gore and husband Wayne of Hot Springs and Lynn Gore and husband Douglas of Marion; three sons, Bob Billingsley and wife Glenna of Elaine, Dan Billingsley and wife Kathy and Mark Billingsley and wife Sherry all of Palestine; four sisters, Irene Sulcer, Patsy Burns and Dean Parker all of Palestine and Florene Parker of Judsonia; 11 grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Services are at 2 p.m. on Tuesday April 22, 2008 at Wall Chapel Baptist Church with Bro Steve Shepherd and Bro Wayne Gore officiating with burial in Mars Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Wall Chapel Baptist Church. Pallbearers are Larry Billingsley, Donnie Burns, Jim Jones, Kip Herron, Ricky Billingsley and Jimmy Williams. Honorary pallbearers are Wilton Jones, Ronnie Hall, Benny Hall, Ron Hall, David Herron, Buddy Ballard and Jerry Matthews.Ê Arrangements by Roller-Citizens Marianna.
