CHARLES HARRIS 0F ST. LOUIS BURIED HERE

The body of Charles Harris, who passed away in St. Louis, Mar. 17, was brought to Bentonville, following funeral services held in Rogers, and placed in the mausoleum, following the services.

Mr. Harris was born at South McAlester, Okla., April 20, 1905. He was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Leslie Harris who formerly lived in this community.

He joined the United States Army in 1926 and served five years in Panama, as a member of Company A, Sixth Infantry. The last years of his services he was stationed at Jefferson Barracks, Mo., where he met and married Mrs. Mary Smith Harris, who survives him. His mother, Mrs. Stelin Harris of Belen, N.M., was with him in his last hours and accompanied the body here. Besides his wife and mother, he is survived by three sisters, Mrs. John Carr of Tulsa, Mrs. Freeman Williams, Sapulpa; and Mrs. Paul Stevens of Pontiac, Mich.
