The Batesville Guard, Batesville, Arkansas, February 20, 2007:
SACRAMENTO, Calif. — Ardell Couch, 79, of Sacramento, Calif., formerly of Bandmill, died Feb. 9, 2007, at his home.
Born Oct. 26, 1927, in Bandmill, he was the son of Willie Lorene Couch Everett. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He was a truck driver.
Survivors include two brothers, Charles Everett of Melbourne and Carl Everett of Wapata, Wash.; two sisters, Archie Blankenship of Fordyce and Louise Sartin of Melbourne; five nephews; and four nieces.
He was preceded in death by his mother.
The funeral was at 2 p.m. Sunday at Roman and Billy Howard Memorial Chapel with David Jennings officiating. Burial was in Spring Hill Cemetery near Oxford under the direction of Eddie’s Family Funeral Home of Melbourne.
Pallbearers were Billy Blankenship, Howard Blankenship, Glenn Everett, Wayburn Watson, Lee Campbell Watson and Terry Rush.
