Warren Richard "Dick" Felker, 72, of Rogers, died Sunday, Oct. 25, at St. Mary's Hospital. He was born July 17, 1921, at Rogers, to Warren and Fern Helen Looney Felker. He attended the University of Arkansas prior to service in World War II and later graduated with a degree in business administration from Tulsa University. He was a U.S. Army pilot during World War II at Africa and Italy. After the war, he was a Trans-Texas Arline pilot in Houston and an executive pilot for Pan American Petroleum in Tulsa. He moved to Rogers in 1961 to join the family businesses and owned Rogers Insurance Agency until he retired in 1983. He was a member of the First Baptist Church. He was an active member of the Kiwanis Club for 30 years, serving as president and on the board of directors, and was MO-ARK District lieutenant governor in 1972-73. He was instrumental in establishing the Kiwanis Club Scholarship Program for high school seniors.

Survivors are his wife, Luella Felker of the home; a son, Richard I. Felker of Tucson; a daughter, Julia Felker Wilder of Dallas; a sister, Pat McDaniel of Fort Smith; his step-mother, Florence Felker of Rogers; two grandsons.

Funeral is set for 3 p.m. Wednesday at First Baptist Church, (main auditorium) with the Rev. Ben J. Rowell officiating. Burial will be at Rogers Cemetery. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. today at Callison-Lough Funeral Home, Rogers.

Memorials may be made to NARTI, First Baptist Church, or the Kiwanis Club Scholarship Fund.
