Robert L. Harrington, age 79 of Norfork, Arkansas passed away Sunday, September 13, 2009 at Baxter Regional Medical Center. Visitation will be from noon until 9 P.M. Thursday at Roller Funeral Home with the family receiving friends from 6-8 PM. Funeral services, conducted by Rev. Doug Huskey will be 10 A.M. Friday, September 18, 2009 at Lone Rock Baptist Church. Interment will be in Burnt Schoolhouse Cemetery.

Mr. Harrington was born January 12, 1930 in Mountain Home to James Edward and Eula Agnes (Biggers) Harrington. He married Patricia Rose on May 17, 1952 in Kokomo, Indiana. He attended the Lone Rock Baptist Church and was an avid hunter and fisherman.

Survivors include his wife, Patricia Harrington of Norfork, a son, Robert Harrington, Jr. of Mountain Home, 4 sisters: Zona Lorenia Pierce of Gassville, Era Kathlean Lindsey of Lone Rock, Dottie Ellen Bossert of Truman and Obta Pearl Owens of Cincinnati, Ohio. 2 brothers: Orlie James Harrington of Dolph and Raydon Clearance Harrington of Lone Rock, and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and a son, Timothy Lee Harrington.
