Pauline Clifton Shelby, 88, of North Little Rock went to be with her Lord, Sunday, July 27, 2008 .She was born July 3, 1920 to the late William Charles and Dora Henson Clifton. She was a member of First Pentecostal Church of North Little Rock; loved fishing and camping with her family. She worked in the nursery at Baptist Hospital in Little Rock for 18 years caring for newborns.
She is survived by four daughters, Janette Meyers and husband, Louis, of Sherwood, Jean McPherson, of North Little Rock, Joan Hobson and husband, David, of Ferndale and Elaine Graves and husband, Rick, of Springdale; two sons, Jim Wayne Shelby and wife, Brenda and Paul Shelby and wife, Phyllis, all of Bryant; sixteen grandchildren, Debbie, Randy, Timothy, Jay, David, Dana, Robert, Shalann, Julie, Brent, Jessica, Seth, Alison, Laney, Clay and Ryan; fourteen great grandchildren, Taylor, Emily, Lindy, Tyler, Gianna, Melissa, Landon, Sarah, Boone, Cooper, Lilly, Elem, Cecilia, and Chloe; one great great grandchild, Jacob Abby. She was preceded in death by her husband, James U. Shelby; three brothers and four sisters.
