CLARENCE BRYANT
Clarence "Dude" Bryant, 84, Canehill, died Aug. 18 at his home. Born March 12, 1894, in Madison County, he was the son of George and Jane Barker Bryant, a retired farmer and a Protestant.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Addie Bryant of the home; two foster children, Larry Smith of Fort Granada, Miss., and Patricia Denton of Fayetteville; and one brother, Homer Smith of Fayetteville.
Arrangements will be announced by Nelson Funeral Home of Fayetteville.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Beane Cemetery near Lincoln with the Rev. J.L. Thompson officiating. Arrangments are under the direction of Nelson Funeral Home of Fayetteville.
