Mr. Raymond Norrell, 52, of Hamburg died Saturday, July 24, 1999. He was a native and life-long resident of Ashley County, a construction worker and a member of the Cloverdale Assembly of God. He was preceded in death by his parents, George Richard and O. D. Ricks Norrell; a sister, Irene Stephens; and two brothers, Jimmy and James Norrell. Survivors are his wife, Kathy Barker Norrell of Milo; three sons, Hank Norrell and wife Darlene of Warren, Jimmy Norrell and Christy Nutt of Milo and Jake Norrell of Milo; a daughter, Shari Sivils and husband Shane of Milo; two brothers, Fred Norrell of Farmerville, LA, and Larry Norrell of Monroe, LA; four sisters, Nellie Vines of Parkdale, Patricia Keller and Carla Robbins of Crossett and Kathy Sawyer of Fountain Hill; and six grandchildren. Funeral services were planned for 2 p.m. Tuesday, July 27, in the Cloverdale Assembly of God with Revs. Bryan D. Peck and Larry Johnson officiating. Pallbearers were to be Kenny Hartley, Joe Bussell, Terry Hollis, Hardy Sawyer, Danny and Tommy Amos. Honorary pallbearers were to be Bill Morton, Keith Hensley, Dale Cockrell, and Petey and Chris Rice. Burial was to follow services at the Carlock Cemetery, directed by Jones Funeral Home of Hamburg.
