Janet Kay Murphy, 45, of Crossett died Wednesday, July 21, 2004, at her residence. Born July 14, 1959, in North Little Rock to Bob Collier and Wanda Boerner Ford, she was a homemaker and a member of Calvary Missionary Baptist Church in Hamburg.
Survivors include her husband, Bobby Murphy; one son, Thomas Rice of Crossett; one daughter, Brandy Anderson of Crossett; her parents, Bob Collier of Crossett and Wanda Ford and husband Ular of Crossett; two brothers, Tim Collier of Hamburg and Rusty Collier of North Little Rock; one sister, Shannon Rawls of Crossett; and three grandchildren, Caleb and Nicholas Anderson and Talon Rice.
Funeral services were held Friday, July 23, at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Jones Funeral Home of Crossett with Bob Wickliffe officiating. Burial was at Carlock Cemetery. Pallbearers were Tim Anderson, W. H. Keen, Wayne Donaldson, Bob Sellers, Jim Adkins and Ricky Murphy.
